Dýrhólaey lighthouse above a steep 118 meter cliff on the promontory by the same name has been a beacon of light for freighters heading for Reykjavik further in the west since 1927. But on a night like this, with the Aurora Borealis shining bright it seems like it’s being outshone by the heavenly skylights.
